Current theme: “Tools for everyday IT”
Think of a task a developer, sysadmin or support agent does every week that's still annoying. Make it one click. Examples: an SPF record builder, a log-line timestamp extractor, a Markdown table generator.
Official rules
- Open to individuals aged 18+ (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) where not prohibited by law. Void where prohibited.
- No purchase, payment or donation is necessary to enter or win.
- One entry per person per challenge. Entries must be your original work and must not infringe third-party rights.
- Tools must run client-side in a browser, collect no personal data without disclosure, and contain no malware or tracking.
- Judging criteria: usefulness (40%), quality & accessibility (30%), originality (20%), documentation (10%).
- Winners are notified by email and must respond within 14 days. Prizes are non-transferable; taxes are the winner's responsibility.
- By entering, you grant Tech.Tools a non-exclusive licence to showcase your entry with attribution. You keep ownership.
- Tech.Tools may modify, extend or cancel a challenge if circumstances require; any change will be posted on this page.
